Spotlights How to Protect Eyesight
GAITHERSBURG, MD- January 7, 2013-In recognition of Low Vision Awareness Month, the American Health Assistance Foundation is teaming up with Asbury Methodist Village to offer Sight Matters, two free public-education events on Friday, February 8, 2013, in Gaithersburg, Md.
Open to the public, the forum will feature presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and exhibits on a range of topics including how to prevent, treat, and live with vision loss. Speakers will include vision-care professionals, researchers, caregivers, and people living with vision loss. Presenters will offer tips, case studies, and important questions for patients to ask eye doctors.
At the exhibit area, participants can talk directly to service providers and other vision experts. The event will feature door prizes and refreshments.
