Stein Your Florist Co. to Host Festival Supporting Alzheimer's Disease Research
Stein Your Florist Co. will host a Spring Family Festival in support of Alzheimer's Disease Research, a program of the American Health Assistance Foundation, on Saturday 16 April (rain date Sunday 17 April) in the Mayfair neighborhood of Philadelphia.
The corner of Frankford and Princeton avenues will feature pony rides for kids, ducklings in the pond, and musical performances throughout the day. The Easter Bunny will also be in attendance.
Having lost their mother and grandmother to Alzheimer's disease, Janet Kelly of Stein Your Florist and her family hold this cause very close to their hearts. “Alzheimer's disease is devastating, not only for those who have it, but for their family and friends as well,” said Kelly. “I am excited to host a fun-filled day to benefit this important cause.”
Stein's Spring Family Festival is free and open to the community.
