Support Alzheimer’s Disease Research Through Workplace Giving Campaigns

Combined Federal Campaign Banner for Alzheimer's Disease Research and the CFC number: 30518

CFC Campaign Begins October 2

Alzheimer’s Disease Research (ADR), a BrightFocus Foundation program, is once again proud to participate in employer-sponsored workplace giving campaigns, including the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), which begins on October 2.

The annual CFC promotes charitable giving by US civilian employees and military personnel, whose contributions benefit thousands of non-profit organizations. With the help of private and public employees last year, ADR was able to invest $8.4 million in 38 new science projects and provide clear, trusted information to families impacted by this disease.

Workplace giving is one of the most cost-efficient means of fundraising, empowering employees to support the causes that matter most to them through the convenience of automatic payroll deductions, while providing charities like ADR with a sustainable stream of income. Each year, workplace giving campaigns generate over $4 billion for charitable organizations.

With the fall and holiday season upon us, we ask that donors and employers consider a contribution to ADR – CFC pledge card #30518 – to help fund ground-breaking research and raise public awareness. ADR is currently supporting nearly 100 scientific projects around the globe, promising research opportunities recommended by a team of experts in the field.

“Only through research will we be able to defeat Alzheimer’s, a debilitating disease that robs our very humanity,” said BrightFocus President and CEO Stacy Pagos Haller. “Supporting bold and innovative science on Alzheimer’s will help us build the future we want for our loved ones and ourselves.”
