The following statement was issued today by Stacy Pagos Haller, BrightFocus Foundation President and CEO:
The Alzheimer’s advocacy movement has lost a great friend in Trish Vradenburg.
Funny, fearless, passionate, and persistent, Trish inspired us and led by an example we all strove to emulate. Her infectious humor and selfless activism made us better people and better advocates. Our shared mission to end Alzheimer’s became stronger, bolder, and certainly livelier and funnier because of Trish.
On behalf of BrightFocus Foundation, I want to express our deepest sympathies and support for the Vradenburg family, USAgainstAlzheimer’s, and all whose lives she touched and changed. In this time of great sadness, it will be in Trish’s name and Trish’s honor that we redouble our efforts to defeat this disease.
