Biography
Dr. Dong Kyu Kim is a postdoctoral fellow advised by Dr. Anna V. Molofsky at UCSF. He received his bachelor’s degree in Systems Biology department from Yonsei University in Korea, and he began his Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences department at Seoul National University College of Medicine in Korea, where he studied molecular mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease in the lab of Dr. Inhee Mook-Jung at Seoul National University. As a BrightFocus postdoctoral fellow, He has been actively investigating how cytokine-mediated immune signaling impacts Alzheimer’s disease pathology.
